New Marana Water Service Application (Residential)

Marana Town Code 14-3

This form must be completed before new service will be established at an existing service connection. Please read this form carefully and complete all required fields.

  • This application is for residential customers moving into existing Marana Water service accounts.
  • Requests for new service must be received 24 hours prior to the requested start date - excluding holidays and weekends. For same-day connection, please contact Marana Water for scheduling and additional fees at (520) 382-2570.
  • All new service connections are subject to non-refundable, one-time administrative connection fees and a refundable security deposit. If the account is a Pima County sewer customer, there will be an alternative sewer connection fee assessed.
  • All connection fees will appear on the first statement and  are not due at time of starting service.
  • Customer will be notified by Marana Water that their application has been received and for collection of deposit.
  • Deposits are due by 4PM the business day prior to the requested start date. Failure to pay the required deposit may result in disconnection of water service. Contact Marana Water for additional information. Customers who are owner/occupiers of the home may submit statements of good standing from three previous utility companies showing a good customer history to waive the security deposit requirement. These are required prior to requested move in date.
  • Bills are due on the 8th, 19th, or 28th of every month, depending on where the service is located. A late payment fee of $15 will be added to a customer's water bill if any rate, charges, or fees are not paid in full by the next billing date. In addition to the late payment fee, if the balance is not paid in full, the customer's water service may be disconnected, a disconnection fee may be assessed, and there may be additional deposit requirements.

Good Customer Documentation - We will accept three letters of good standing/customer history from three previous utility companies (water, sewer, electric, gas or trash) to waive the deposit requirement. Only available to owner/occupier customers.

Instructions

  • Complete all response fields in the application.
  • Attach all required documents.
  • Submit payment for required fees or remaining balances via
    1. Phone with a debit/credit card by calling (520) 382-1999
    2. Mailing in a check or money order to 11555 W. Civic Center Dr., Marana, AZ 85653
    3. Dropping off a payment to our payment center location: 11555 W. Civic Center Dr. (Barnett Rd and Civic Center Dr.).
  • Complete and submit the form online.
  • Upon approval, the applicant will be notified via email.

  • ARS 9-495, ARS 9-834, and the Town of Marana’s licensing timeframes are located at maranaaz.gov/arsnotice. By submission of this form, I certify that I have read and understand ARS 9-495 & 9-834.
