Notice is hereby given that Parks and Recreation activities, events, programs, and sports leagues may be photographed for promotional materials.

All refunds, unless refund not due to the fault of the customer, are subject to a 10% Administrative Fee, and online processing (convenience) fees are not refundable.Refund requests must be submitted in writing and emailed to marana.parks@maranaAZ.gov.

Registration Refund (Customer Requests): A refund can be issued for a withdrawal request prior to the start of the program. Refunds will not be issued after the start of the program. In lieu of a refund, a transfer may be transacted in conjunction with a cancellation or withdrawal notification. When there is a transfer and there is still a balance due, participants must remit the difference to complete the registration. When there is a transfer resulting in overpayment the participant will receive a refund of the difference. 

Program Cancellation or Modification: Programs may be modified or canceled at any time. In the event of a cancellation or modification, notification will be made by phone and email and a full refund will be issued. Refunds for multi-class activities will be prorated on a per-class cancellation basis. A refund receipt will be emailed to the payer on file. Ensure your contact information is accurate to receive these notifications.

Note: Refunds can take up to 14-days to process.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people.

The Town of Marana Parks and Recreation department has created new protocols and put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, the Town cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending any program may increase your risk of contracting COVID-19, and may increase the risk of transmitting COVID-19 to others.

I acknowledge the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I, or members of my group or organization, may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by participating in any way in any event, program, activity, reservation or rental taking place at a Town of Marana Parks and Recreation facility or park, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID19 at a Town of Marana Parks and Recreation facility or park may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Town employees, volunteers, and other participants and their families.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself or members of my group or organization, including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that they or I may experience or incur in connection with participation in any event, program, activity, reservation or rental taking place at a Town of Marana Parks and Recreation facility. I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Town, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any claims related to COVID-19, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Marana and its employees, agents, and representatives from any claim that may arise from or in connection with my or members of my group or organization’s participation in any program taking place at a Town of Marana Parks and Recreation facility, including claims related to COVID-19. I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Town, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Town of Marana Parks and Recreation program.

In consideration of acceptance into the above-referenced Town of Marana activity, I do hereby, for myself, my child/ren, my heirs, executors and assigns, release the Town of Marana and the officials, officers, agents and employees of the Town from liability for any harm, injury, or damage, which I, or my minor child/ren, may suffer while participating in the above-described activity. This includes all risks that are connected with this activity whether foreseen or unforeseen. I agree to indemnify and hold the Town of Marana and its agents, officials and employees harmless from any damage to persons or property, resulting from my, or my minor child/ren's, negligence and/or intentional acts. I assume the responsibility of mental and physical fitness for myself and my minor child/ren to participate in said activity, and agree to abide by all rules and requirements of the activity. I am of lawful age and legally competent to sign this Agreement for and in behalf of myself and/or my minor child/ren. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the terms of this Release and Indemnification Agreement and agree that I shall be bound by its terms and conditions.

By submission of this form, I acknowledge that, pursuant to ARS § 33-1551, as a recreational or educational user I accept the risk created by my activity and shall exercise reasonable care in my activity. I further acknowledge that I am liable for any damage to Town of Marana property that I may cause while on Town of Marana property. I further acknowledge that the Town of Marana is not liable for unknown conditions on its property.

I certify that I am the named applicant or am the parent or legal guardian of the named minor in the attached application.
