Payment is due for requests approved by 2 p.m. on the same business day by 4 p.m. For requests approved after 2 p.m., payment is due by 9 a.m. the next business day. If payment is not made by the deadline, the reservation will be canceled, and the applicant will need to resubmit a reservation request.

Beer/Wine is only permitted with a valid Beer/Wine Permit obtained from the Town of Marana. A Beer/Wine Permit must be purchased in person at the Parks & Recreation Department, 13250 N Lon Adams Rd, Marana, AZ 85653. A valid government issued photo ID must be presented prior to issuance of Beer/Wine Permit. Liquor and glass containers are prohibited.

Beer/Wine permit holders must produce proof of permit upon request. Additional fees apply.

Alcohol sales (beer/wine) are permitted only with an approved Town of Marana Special Event Permit (opens in a new tab). You must also apply for a State of Arizona Liquor License (opens in a new tab) before your event.

Commercial Activity in Town of Marana Parks and Facilities

The Town of Marana Parks and Recreation facilities are intended to serve the residents of Marana and the general public. Pursuant to Section 13-1-3(A)(4) of the Marana Town Code, it is unlawful to use Town park or recreational areas for commercial purposes, or to sell any goods or services, without first obtaining a written permit from the Town. An individual, group or organization that desires to use Town of Marana Parks and Recreation facilities to offer services for the purpose of financial gain, whether explicitly or implicitly, must obtain a Commercial Activity Permit from the Parks and Recreation Department prior to beginning the commercial activity.

Commercial activities considered for approval include, but are not limited to, special interest classes, fitness lessons, sport instruction, photography and filming. At this time the Town of Marana Parks and Recreation Department is not issuing Commercial Activity Permits to food vendors. Food vendors will only be allowed in parks during Town-sanctioned special events.

I agree and understand that inflatables (e.g., bounce houses, inflatable slides, obstacle courses) are not permitted at the Marana Aquatics and Recreation Facility.

REFUND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All refunds, unless refund not due to the fault of the customer, are subject to a 10% Administrative Fee, and online processing (convenience) fees are non-refundable. Email refund requests to marana.parks@maranaaz.gov.

Reservations: Any changes to a reservation must be submitted for consideration via email to marc@maranaaz.gov at least seven (7) days before the first day of rental. A refund can be issued for cancellations made at least four (4) days prior to the reservation date.

Rental Terms: A facility is not considered reserved until payment is collected and a receipt and permit issued.

MARANA AQUATIC AND RECREATION CENTER USAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Permit holders must produce their copy of any permit upon request by Parks and Recreation personnel. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Fees for facility use are non-refundable in the event of non-use, rain or shorter duration.
The use of Children Amusements is prohibited at the Marana Aquatic and Recreation Center.
Permit holders must pay the Town within ten days from the date of use of the facilities for any and all loss, breakage or need for repair of any piece of furniture, equipment or portion of facility.
The burden of proof shall be upon the permit holder to prove that any damage was not caused by the permit holder or his/her organization.
The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any reservation prior to scheduled use due to unforeseen Town of Marana conflicts, in which case the permit holder will be notified in advance and all pre-paid fees refunded.
The Town reserves the right to revoke the right to use the facilities at any time, including during an event if there is a danger of injury or damage to person(s) or property.
The permitted use of the facilities by a user does not, in any way, constitute an endorsement by the Town of Marana of the user's policies or beliefs.
Permit holders must abide by all terms and conditions outlined herein, as well as all Town of Marana Parks and Recreation Regulations, as set forth in Chapter 13-1 of the Marana Town Code.

Cancellation or modification to permit must be made 4 days in advance or permit holder forfeits all applied fees.

RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

In consideration of the Town of Marana's acceptance of my reservation of Town facilities, I do hereby, for myself, my child/ren, my heirs, executors and assigns, release the Town of Marana and the officials, officers, agents and employees of the Town from liability for any harm, injury, or damage, which I, or my minor child/ren, may suffer while using the described facilities. This includes all risks that are connected with use of the facilities whether foreseen or unforeseen. I agree to indemnify and hold the Town of Marana and its agents, officials and employees harmless from any damage to persons or property, resulting from my, or my minor child/ren's, negligence and/or intentional acts. I assume the responsibility of mental and physical fitness for myself and my minor child/ren to use the facilities, and agree to abide by all rules and requirements for facilities usage. I am of lawful age and legally competent to sign this Agreement for and in behalf of myself and/or my minor child/ren. If I am acting on behalf of an organization, I certify that I am the agent of the organization, I am acting on the organization's behalf, and I am duly authorized to execute this Release and Indemnification Agreement on the organization's behalf. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to abide by all the terms, conditions, rules and regulations outlined in this Facility Use Application and that I have read and undertand the terms of this Release and Indemnification Agreement and agree that I shall be bound by its terms and conditions.

By submission of this form, I acknowledge that, pursuant to ARS § 33-1551, as a recreational or educational user I accept the risk created by my activity and shall exercise reasonable care in my activity. I further acknowledge that I am liable for any damage to Town of Marana property that I may cause while on Town of Marana property. I further acknowledge that the Town of Marana is not liable for unknown conditions on its property.
