Town of Marana - SMART Irrigation Controller Rebate Application

Licensing Time Frame

ARS 9-495, ARS 9-834, and the Town of Marana’s licensing timeframes are located at maranaaz.gov/arsnotice. By submission of this form, I certify that I have read and understand ARS 9-495 & 9-834.

Purpose

This rebate is intended for the replacement of older irrigation controllers (timers) that do not have weather-based technology. Residential Weather-Based irrigation controllers will help to reduce outdoor and overall water use. Rebates will be made to qualifying applicants on a first-come, first served basis, subject to availability of funds. Rebate amount is up to $100 per irrigation controller with a maximum of two per household.

Rebate Requirements

To qualify:

Applicant must be a single-family residential Marana Water customer with an account in their name at the service address where the irrigation controller is installed.
Rebate application must be submitted no later than 1 year after the purchase of the product.
Only WaterSense labeled weather-based irrigation controller(s) will be eligible for a rebate:

Participants must be willing to provide photos of the old and newly installed irrigation controller(s).
Limit 2 per household. Properties that have already received an irrigation controller rebate are not eligible.
Customer must be in good standing for the past 12 months.

Rebate applications must be complete and are subject to verification and availability of funds.
Marana reserves the right to verify and inspect rebated devices.
Marana Water does not warrant, endorse, or assume liability for the quality or performance of the installed equipment purchased under this program.
Marana Water reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion and at any time, to change any or all the Rebate Program Policies or to cancel the rebate program without prior notice.

Rebate Issuance

Rebate amount is up to $100 per irrigation controller with a maximum of two irrigation controllers per household.
Allow six to eight weeks for your completed application to be processed and rebate issued.
